Lot 4 - Vista Terranora Design Gallery
Move in this summer!

With extensive views stretching over the Tweed Valley across to the Kingscliff region and ocean, this acreage block inspired a contemporary, rural architectural approach. A natural grove of trees has been preserved on the site which provides a picturesque foreground to the valley beyond. The house was designed to step down with the gently sloping natural landscape, allowing all dominant living spaces and bedrooms to take advantage of the surrounding views.
The stepped building design further allows for an ease of connection to the landscape, and a central roof opening enables northern light to enter the kitchen area and living spaces beyond. Privacy from the neighbouring blocks above has been maintained through the spatial planning of the house and the positioning of windows.

Lot 8 - Vista Terranora Design Galley

Positioned within the Tweed Hinterland, the property is open to panoramic views of the Tweed Valley and Coast.  The contemporary designed home has been situated at the highest point of the gently sloping site to take in the breathtaking views from all aspects. The 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home lightly touches the site allowing much of the acre site to remain untouched. The use of lightweight materials and natural finishes allows the building to blend into the natural landscape of the site.
The architects’ linear arrangement of the spaces positioned across the ridge of the site provides all corners of the home with access to the stunning outlook over the valley.
Extensive roof overhangs create large outdoor living spaces for entertaining and private areas off bedrooms for retreat. The roof also shades openings for natural light and air flow to fill the internal spaces, making for a home that can feel a part of the natural environment.
